BBQ

Last night, we took David out to some Korean BBQ action in Tustin. His birthday was about a week ago. Happy Belated Birthday dude. Even though David HAD to have his lunch earlier in the day, we still made him eat quite a bit. Next time, let's try to not have lunch when we are planning on going to a buffet later at night, plz...Hahaha, we all had a great time there at the Korean BBQ place. Who were there you asked? Well, it was just the usual WoW people, David, Francis, Brian, and Darren. Altogether, I can say that we ate an unbelievable amount of short ribs. Here are some pictures of last night. Great time!

Left to Right: Francis, me, Brian, David (Darren came later on)

Hit that sh*t raw! Aww man the curling squid!

Anyhow, I'd also want to say how sorry I was letting you guys down last night! David, you didn't have to tell the lady owner what I was doing! Hahaha...I do appreciate your intention though, even though that embarassed the crap out of me! I still don't think she knows what you said though. Darren, thanks for the reminder, but I was a bit too late. Francis, I forgot the gums... And Brian, dude what the hell was that fake cigarette crap...that's nut! Anyway, I'm going to get some sleep now. My clothes are stinking up my room with the tasty aroma of BBQ meats! Great! You guys are too damn funny! But next time, I shall take any opportunities that have arisen! Or at least, I will try harder! ;)

P.S. Maybe she's just some crazy wild party girl anyways, right? not worth it right? Hahahaha...or not! Just trying to make myself feel a little better about it, people!

Funnies

A couple of days ago in my dance class during the break. I was just chilling near the doorway after a short trip to the water fountain. I overheard one of the girls in the class asking the instructor about an upcoming dance competition. Then their conversation continued, and I heard the word 'partner' being thrown around a couple of times. Well anyhow, all of a sudden, I saw the instructor's looking toward my direction. Not realizing what was going on at that exact moment, I smiled, and acted like I didn't hear a single word they were saying. Then I heard him saying, how about Son, he'll be your partner.

I was dumbstruck! Nonetheless, I had to be a good sport so all I did was smiled back and sort of nodded...Right after they've looked away, I was like, aww crap! What the hell have I gotten myself into this time. Well, hopefully I can play dumb and pretend that I didn't hear anything from that time...and maybe...just maybe I can pathetically crawl myself out of this one.

I think the reason why he likes to pick me is because I'm always joking around in that class and I was maybe the only guy from the last class, so he knows I'm good for it! Moreover, the instructor is pretty cool with me. I'm always the one that get picked to do any demonstration for the men's parts! Maybe it's my impeccable ability to mimic dance moves?

That's that for an entry for this week, hehe. Time to get back to reading...I'd write more about my life right now, but that would be a horribly depressing entry, and that, I will spare you, my visitor to this site...for now!

Last but not least, I would like to also add that Francis' (so-called) Commentaries is back online once again, I assume with the help of Brian's web hosting space! Now I have one more blog I will raid daily! That if the knucklehead will post daily...His site is back on http://www.fcastill.com.

Another Week...

Woah, it's been a while since I last posted something. Things have been quite busy lately with the start of a new busy quarter of school. It's that time of the quarter again where I have to sit in as many classes as possible and try to narrow down to the classes that I want or think that I should take. It's a very stressful and an arduous process especially since none of these classes are of much interest to me.

CLICK BELOW TO READ MORE...

I started the week by getting soaked and drenched as I spent 5 minutes walking to class without an umbrella in the stormy rain. That was one of the worse hour and a half of class ever. I was so drenched that I had to make a quick stop before class just to dry myself off with paper towels in the bathroom nearby.

Tuesday was a long day. Didn't have enough sleep so the whole day was just a blur. Classes were so tough to get by with the amount of sleep I had the night before.

Wednesday, I went out with some friends to Shogun for some Japanese food. It was great! Shogun is very similar to Benihana. Our personal chef was very creative and funny. He kept claiming that he's mexican and that he was born in Mexico. He kept speaking to us in Spanish too. it was hilarious! He's clearly Asian though...Anyhow, boy, can he do some crazy tricks with the provided kitchen tools...

Thursday, another long day of crap...that's all there was to it. Samba is actually a pretty fun dance, a bit of a workout I might add. Rumba on the other hand is so easy for the men. It's supposed to be a women's dance. And for the men, it's supposed to be a dance to show off your women in a sense.

Friday, stopped by at work for the first time in like two or so weeks. Then I went out to Francis' Birthday Celebration at BJ's with David, Brian and Laureen. A few of Francis' friends were there too. Damn, the pizookie put us over the top of being so full...

Damn, this weekend has gone by way too fast. I need to get some sleep now to start this crazy ass week coming up. Not one bit of it am I looking foward to, and that IS just sad! It took me quite a while to write up this entry even though it's not one of the longest I've written. But I just don't have or can't find the energy or motivation to write much lately. Especially about my life, since absolutely nothing has gone right so far for the past....ummm...wow...almost half a year already.

Here is a few pictures from Francis' Bday party at BJ's. Happy belated birthday Francis. Get your raptor mount already. Sup lvl 40?

Shortest post ever!

Another song for you! I think only one other person beside me who visits my site knows the name of this song. It's a very cool piece of music nonetheless. Enjoy! Choose "song1" instead "dream"! As always wait until it finished downloading and then click on the PLAY button!

And here is the quote of the week, since I have not much time nor energy to write a complete post. So you go figure!

Don't screw up the best thing in your life just because you are unsure of who you are.

I actually stole it from Darren's xanga.

Best song ever!

For some reason, every time I listen to this song, it makes me feel all nostalgic about my childhood. I was over at Pete and Jane's place some time last week. Pete and Jane were nice enough to let me hold baby Sydney for a while. As I was trying to put her to sleep on my shoulder, Pete happened to have this song playing in Sydney's room. It's part of a lullaby collection CD that he has. The song immediately struck me as how familiar it sounds. I have heard this particular song or tune somewhere before but for the life of me, I just couldn't recollect it.

Even until now, after knowing what the song's title is, I still couldn't figure out how it has such an effect on me. Anyhow, I have included the song as a flash file, just listen to it and let me know what you think. Below...click and choose the song and then click on the little play button after it's done loading.

Well...anyways, I would write more about what's been going lately in this first week of this brand new year but as always, there are currently too many uncertainties and doubts. Therefore, as soon as I have things settled down a bit more, I promise to deliver a more comprehensive update. Moreover, I've discovered how complicate Rumba and Samba can get(!)...or maaayybbbee because of the lack of sleep and food the night before has led me to be unable to concentrate or follow instructions as well as I normally can! Crazies! Speaking of sleep, maybe I SHOULD head to bed already...it's almost 7 AM already!

Happy New Year! 2005!

I wish everyone a good new year including myself! Happy New Year! Hope all our wishes will come true, especially the good ones!

This New Year's Eve was the first year in my life that I wasn't at home when the New Year hit. I was down in Downtown Disney with some friends and saw the firework from Disneyland next door. It was so cold last night. Riding on the tram, I could hardly feel my face from the freezing temperature breeze.

Anyhow, once again, Happy New Year! May this new year bring everyone joys and happiness (which is very relative...hehe)!
