Happy New Year!

Another crazy year has gone by! It's been a hectic and busy year but nonetheless productive.

I had a weird dream last night that I was at one of my family functions and after seeing how fast all of my little baby cousins' growing up. I'm not quite sure why but I said something about darkness is coming sooner or later. I remember my aunt smiled and replied something witty to me that I cannot seem to recall. Anyhow, I think what I meant was that we should enjoy every year that's gone by and the ones to come as much as possible with the limited amount of time we are "here". Wow, that sounds so depressing and before I ruin everyone's new year with this, I'd like to stop it there! You just have to be there to understand everything, it was a long dream.

In short, have a wonderful, enjoyable, and safe new year celebration everyone! Hope the next year to come is as much {fun, happy, *fill in the blank*,...} or better than the previous!

Merry Christmas!!!

I wish everyone a merry Christmas. Take care and be safe this holidays! Hope you all receive plenty of presents and not just coals (even if you've been bad this entire year!).

Ahh!

Who said graduate school is easy?! I worked the hardest in school this quarter than any other times on top of working nearly fulltime at my job, and yet my grades for the quarter are slightly above mediocre! I guess it's all about the classes you pick and the professors you choose to take it with that make it all matter. Anyhow, I'm kidding...nobody said grad school is easy...maybe that's why! One more quarter of classes or two more classes to go to be exact and I'll be done with classes for my MS! I'll be walking in the ICS commencement this June! I can't believe I'm almost done!

You know you're a workaholic when you start working whenever you're bored.

Stuck in a stairwell

Yay! This quarter is finally over! I thought it would never end! I just hope I got good grades in all my classes! If I did, only one quarter to go!

So now that school is over, I have been working almost full time. Wait, never mind. Work is all I do. Wake up, work, eat, work, even when I go to the restroom I am thinking about how to fix whatever I'm stuck on. I figure I could be a millionaire if I never sleep and just work 24/7.

The office where I work is on the fifteenth floor of a building in Newport. Today, for some reason, I needed to go downstairs one level and I didn't want to use the elevator because it would take too long to get all the way up to the fifteenth floor, and I only needed to go down one floor. So I decided to use the stairs. But when I got down to the fourteenth floor, the door was locked. I didn't have the key to get through the door. So I went back up to the fifteenth floor, but it was locked too. So I ended up walking down fifteen floors, checking the door at each floor. When I got to the ninth floor, I thought "Oh my God, I'm not even halfway down!" At the third floor, I began to get lightheaded (okay okay I know...I need to exerise more often), and by the time I got to the second floor, I thought "I hope the door on the first floor is unlocked, otherwise I have to walk all the way back up to the fifteenth floor and call one of my coworkers to open the door for me!! The first floor was unlocked - freedom!!!! I then proceeded to take the elevator all the way back up to my floor while thanking Buddha, God or to whomever you believe in for the elevator!
