Graduate Orientation?

Wow I can't believe that school hasn't started yet and YET I am already not doing so well...hehe. I received an email today notifying me that I have missed the mandatory ICS graduate students orientation! And this was held on the 20th of September at 10 AM.

For some reason I wasn't awared of this until today, all these time I have been looking on the wrong part of the UCI website.

What I should've been looking at was the schedule specifically in the ICS Department website instead of the one on the main UCI website.

Anyhow...Oops...sorry UCI Graduate counselors and directors that I didn't make it to the orientation. Now I have to drive down UCI sometime before Friday to get my UCI student ID, parking permit (300 dollars per year) and the essential materials that were given out at the orientation.

ICS graduate welcome & orientation 10 a.m. - noon Computer Science 174 (Building 302 on the campus map) A welcome reception for all new M.S. and Ph.D. students. ICS faculty and staff will explain policies, procedures and first steps for a successful start to a graduate career. Dean Debra J. Richardson will cap the event with a brief overview of the school's journey, past, present and future.

This is what I missed.... =[ Anyways, 2 more days until the first day of class.
