So BLURRY!!!

Wow, this whole weekend so far has been a blur! And yet I didn't even drink or did anything that has been distorting my mind (well...besides not sleeping enough according to my standard if you want to count that).

Well…I just got back around 5 AM. Woah...what a day! Well in short (because I’m really tired and need to get some sleep), woke up after about 5 hours of sleep and went to Dim Sum (mental note to self, pictures needed to be acquired from one of the girls because I forgot to bring the camera). Got home, took a nap and then headed out to toward Los Angeles.

Went to LAX with Devin to take Lisa to Air Canada so she fly back home after the whole bomb scared earlier today at LAX of some battery explosion in a Japanese tourist’s luggage. LAX was back up and running pretty smoothly even after what happened earlier.

We then headed up to Century City to meet up with Darren and David (UCI friends) at the Century Club. We, well at least, I, got in free because we were on the guest list (well it was more complicated than that but that will be saved for later when I have more time). Anyway, to be brief, I sat there for the first hour and danced most of the night until 2 AM, drank 3 glasses of FREE water!

Here was when the craziness started to escalate (not that it hasn't before this) Darren (who had probably the worse night possible, poor guy) realized that he has dropped the key to his car somewhere on the dance floor. We searched and searched more for it for the ending 30 minutes and couldn’t find it anywhere nor at the lost and found neither. Then…we figured it might be ok to just go home and wait until he gets his spare key and come back for the car.

The story wouldn’t be interesting if there isn’t any twist to it…right?

Here are the bad and good news….The bad news (again) was that Darren parked his car in some random private valet parking nearby and we only had until 4 AM to get his car out of the vicinity or else it would be impounded and that would be very costly.

The good news was, Melanie, who had a triple-A’s plus membership, called in to get the car towed away for the time being into a storage area until Darren can come back with a spare key. Everyone had a drink, so I was the designated driver being that I drank only water for the whole night! So I ended up driving around the Century City, sightseeing (if you want to call it that) the area for about 2 hours while Melanie was inquiring about the towing.

Anyhow, after the car was towed away safely, I had to drive Melanie back to her house and went back home with Devin and Darren. They are spending the night over at my house and tomorrow, we might have to go down to San Diego again to get the spare key!

Wow…what a weekend and I damn sure know that it hasn’t ended yet! It has all been a blur like Darren said. However, all this are just the very gist of what happened. I will go into further interesting details when I have the time which is probably going to be at least after this weekend. And upload the pictures like I promised. =(

By the way, at the Century Club, I bumped into Jerry and John, (my brother’s high school friends) with their friends, while I was on the cell phone near the entrance, and they now think that I’m a party animal because I was there and was on the guest list! Crazy!

Well…time to sleep…good night world.
