Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

Woke up around noon after 5 hours of sleep...it was more like a nap to me! I went down to Oceanside with Elizabeth and Martin to watch our dance coach perform at the Mira Costa community college there. I've never heard of this school before, but apparently, it is a pretty darn fancy and nice community college. Anyways, the whole dance performance thingie was really cool. I enjoyed it! The salsa part was just too hot! Makes me want to start strutting some of my secret salsa moves! Thanks to Elizabeth for driving us back and forth from Irvine to Oceanside and back. I had a good nap on the way back...hehe. 5 + 1 (nap) = 6 hours of sleep! Sweet!

Thanks to my trusty "insider trading" info, I found out that my mom wanted orchids this year for Mother's Day. So for the most part of this afternoon, I spent driving from city to city shopping for orchids. And since I didn't get back to Chino Hills until 5PM, all of the flowers shops were closed by that time. Pete gave me this great idea of checking out Home Depot, Armstrong, or Lowes for orchids. After stopping by 3 different Home Depots and searching for the nearest Armstrong, I almost gave up! But it was almost 8PM that I found a Lowes nearby in Rancho Cucamonga. I made a quick stop and found some very nice orchids there! I then sped to the closest grocery store for a "Happy Mother's Day" greeting card and balloon. Opened the card and wrote "From Son & Ha". Delivered it to her shop before 8PM! Made it just in time! All that speeding on the local streets did not go in vain!

Since I was already in the RC area, I figured that I should pay Pete and his family a visit. It's been a long time since I've been by. Even though I got there pretty late, Jessie and Sydney were still up! Thanks for keeping them up for me! I know it was past their bedtimes. Sydney grew a bit and she's even more adorable now than ever. Jessie is still the same, she likes to talk talk talk! And kick kick kick the pink penguin I bought for her bday.

Jane told me how Sydney looks so Japanese with her fair skin. She cried and wanted her mommy when I was holding her for too long. Jessie naturally smiled for her Uncle Son on the bottom right picture.
